Meet the Owner

Jasmine Walker is an accomplished Studio owner, performer and youth coach. She currently serves as a full-time dance educator in the charter school network servicing students in and around D.C. She is a proud graduate of Spelman College where she received her BA degree in Psychology with a concentration in Management and Dance. While a student at Spelman, Jasmine served as a Morehouse College Cheerleader, dancer for the Morehouse College Marching Band, Mahogany N Motion and was crowned the 77th Queen of Morehouse College, Miss Maroon & White. During her time at Spelman, Jasmine also served as the Step/Dance Master for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Eta Kappa Chapter.

Upon graduation, Jasmine began her professional dance and cheerleading career as an NBA Cheerleader for the Atlanta Hawks basketball team. While a cheerleader, she performed for music artists such as Ludacris, CeeLo Green, T.I., 2 Chainz and more. While a professional cheerleader, Jasmine also taught dance for Dance 101 Atlanta, The Mable House Art Center and Creative Movements & Dance. With over 15 years of dance and cheerleading experiences, Jasmine decided to start a Mobile Dance Studio, More Mirrors Dance Company, with the purpose to provide determined children ages 3+ with exceptional, affordable and convenient opportunities to follow their passion in dance, cheer, gymnastics and fitness.

As a graduate of South Cobb High School in Cobb County, GA, where she served as the Varsity Cheerleading captain and choreographer for the dance team, Jasmine decided to open her very first dance, cheer and fitness studio space in Austell, GA where she could give back to the same loving community that invested in her future. She created Move More Studio for children of all ages as well as adults seeking professional dance and cheerleading training with a fitness foundation.

Today, Jasmine trains dancers in Metro Atlanta, GA and the DMV area. She also serves as a full-time educator and mother. She continues to uplift many through the performing arts and has built long lasting partnerships with institutions such as Howard University, Spelman College, Morehouse College as well as the City of Alexandria, Prince George’s County, DC Public Charter Schools and the Cobb County School District.

Jasmine loves to travel, spend time with family & friends and create timeless memories with her daughter, Jada Belle. Jasmine is a renowned leader and pioneer in the dance community, exhibiting expertise in multiple arenas within the performing arts.
